• Take Action Petaluma is a community of citizens, nonprofit organizations and community groups committed to building awareness and sparking engagement around development projects that affect our quality of life.
• Our mission is to provide accurate, science-based information that acts as a basis for citizens to engage in a balanced discussion with our local government, City Council and Planning Department.
• It starts with Awareness. Get to know the projects and players that are making the decisions that will have an impact on OUR quality of life.
• We speak truth to power and hold elected officials accountable when they approve projects that violate the General Plan, the River Access Plan and basic common sense.
• We always ask – Who is going to benefit from this project and who is going to shoulder the liability?
